The Gwaii Trust Society has an eight member, volunteer, Board of Directors that represent all seven Gwaii Trust communities on Haida Gwaii.

Audit and Finance

The Gwaii Trust Audit and Finance Committee provides oversight of the financial reporting process and the audit process on behalf of the Board of Directors and is responsible for recommendations to the Board on all matters pertaining to financial policy and procedures and auditor recommendations.

Youth Board

The Gwaii Trust Youth Board was created as a mirror of the Gwaii Trust Board. They make recommendations on application approvals, look at programming policies from a youth perspective and provide mentorship opportunities for youth.

Bullying, Harassment and Violence Policy

Gwaii Trust is dedicated to maintaining a safe workplace. Bullying, harassment or violence against staff or directors will not be tolerated, and offences may result in Gwaii Trust denying current and future applications to any of its granting programs.
