Education Programs
To the Post Secondary Students and Mature Student Bursary applicants:
In order to receive your grant please forward your official transcript along with a cover letter stating your requests to the Old Massett Office. Once our office receives your transcript we will notify you via email that a chouse will be mailed out within 5 to 10 business days.
If you have not received your payment by the end of February 2012 or have any questions please call the Project Officer, Debbie Crosby at the Skidegate office 1-877-559-8883, 250-559-8883 or via email debbie.crosby@gwaiitrust.com

The first Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors/Alternates meeting is scheduled for January 8th 2012 /Time: 10:00--4:00/ All Gwaii Trust Board of Directors /Alternates, Youth Board/Alternates and GT Youth Committee members are all invited to attend this meeting.

NOTE: all programs intakes are required to be submitted by 4:30 pm on or before the deadline date. Open program applications must be submitted two weeks before the program event is occurring, and will be decisional at the next regularly scheduled Gwaii Trust Board of Directors meeting.

Attention
Our call for expressions of interest in the Gwaii Trust Arts Committee has been extended to November 4th 2011.
The Gwaii Trust Board of Directors is seeking to fill vacancies on our Arts committee. Artist, arts enthusiasts, arts educators, arts advocates, administrators are all encouraged to apply.
Committee members recommend grant applications to the Gwaii Trust Board based on merit and need of the applicant, and make policy recommendations to the Board regarding programming and procedure of the Arts program.
If this sounds like a committee you would be interested in learning more about do not hesitate to contact either one of our Gwaii Trust offices.

The Trust is Offering Public Info Session The Gwaii Trust is offering public information sessions in each community. The Trust has committed to be in each community (excepting those where we already have offices) at least one day per month, to allow those communities more direct access to staff to answer questions, or simply talk about their community and the Trust. Debbie Crosby is the project officer for all island projects.
